Wilmette Blotter: Two DUI Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Wilmette police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Earlier: 

DUI

Amy L. Landolt, 42, of Evanston was arrested for DUI after she was stopped for speeding at 12:14 a.m. Feb. 11 at the intersection of Glenview Road and Vine Street.

Andrey Garbuzov, 23, of Wilmette was arrested for aggravated DUI at 12:46 a.m. Feb. 3 in the 700 block of Ridge Avenue. This was his third DUI arrest. His license had been revoked due to a previous DUI. A six-pack of Heineken bottles was found inside his car; all were open and some were empty. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without insurance, driving with a revoked license and speeding.

A $200 Bluetooth ear piece and a plastic cup containing several dollars in coins were stolen from an unlocked car between 12:15 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 1300 block of Gregory Avenue.

Retail theft

Ranka Todorovic, 66, was charged with retail theft at 4:32 p.m. Feb. 8 at Carson Pirie Scott after she used her teeth to remove the tags from two bracelets and put them on along with a scarf. She made other purchases, but left without paying for the three items, valued at $62.99.

Driving without a license

Jose M. Perez-Saldivar, 27, of Chicago was arrested for driving without a license after he ran a red light at 8:58 a.m. Feb. 11 at the intersection of Wilmette Avenue and Green Bay Road.
