Wilmette Police Blotter: Delivery of Cocaine, Domestic Battery

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Trespassing 

Joshua Davis, 28, of Evanston, is being charged with trespassing, according to Wilmette Police reports. The incident occurred on the 500 block of 5th St. on Jan. 31.

David M. Franklin, 42, of Chicago is being charged with driving under the influence, Wilmette Police reports state. Franklin was pulled over on the 3900 block of Lake Ave. on Feb. 1 for traffic offenses, according to the report. He refused a breathalizer test.

Kevin M. Lyon, 23, of Wilmette is being charged with driving under the influence, according to Wilmette Police reports. According to the report, Lyon was pulled over on the 200 block of Harms Rd. on Feb. 1 for a traffic offense. He refused a breathalizer test. 

Delivery of a Controlled Substance — Cocaine

Anmer Sanchez Jr., 24, of Chicago is being charged with delivery of a controlled substance — cocaine, according to Wilmette Police reports. The report states that the incident occurred on Feb. 1 at 100 Green Bay Rd. and the delivery was approximately 4.5 grams of cocaine packaged in smaller bags. Sanchez's court date is schedule for Feb. 13 in Skokie.

Domestic Battery

Officers responded to the 4000 block of Lake St. for a domestic battery report, according to Wilmette Police reports. Officers spoke with the victim and the unnamed offender, who are husband and wife. The report states that they had been in a verbal argument while driving from Chicago to Glenview and it turned into a physical confrontation. It was determinded, police note, that the driver punched the victim in the face and that she defended herself, causing scratches and a red mark on him. The man was taken into custody for domestic battery and held for bond. 

Driving Without a Valid Driver's License

Julio Aragon-Villalba, 62, of Highwood is being charged for driving without a valid driver's license, according to Wilmette Police reports. Officers state that they responded to the 700 block of Green Bay Rd. for an accident in which the offender rear ended a parked cab. The driver did not appear to be in good health after the accident, the report states, and it was discovered afer talking to his wife that the subject was diabetic. He was given a soda and processed for the arrest. His wife arrived to take him home and was advised to monitor his condition.
