Wilmette Police Blotter: DUI Arrest; $2,200 in Unauthorized Credit Charges

May 19

Driving under the influence: Kevin J. Boyle, 20, of Brookfield, WI, was arrested at 5:46 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His vehicle was pulled over in the 1000 block of Skokie Boulevard for speeding. Police later discovered that Boyle's blood alcohol content was .18.

Fraud: A resident reported unauthorized charges totaling $2,214.18 were made to her credit card account between May 16 and 19. She was unsure whether the card was stolen or lost. Charges included purchases at Potbelly Sandwiches in Northbrook, Mark Shale in Northbrook and Barnes and Noble in Deerfield.
