Wilmette Police Blotter: Laptops, Bike, Wallets Stolen

Theft

A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue on April 27. The wallet contained $700 in cash, two credit cards and identification.

A 13-inch MacBook Air laptop and a black Sony VAIO laptop were stolen from a home in the 600 block of Maple Ave. on April 23. There was no sign of forced entry into the home.

A bike was stolen from the 900 block of Ashland Avenue between April 27 and 28. The bike was purchased from Target and is valued at $80.

A red silk clutch was stolen from Michigan Shores Club, 911 Michigan Ave., on April 21. The clutch contained an iPhone, debit card, identification and some cash.

A backpack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 30 block of Crescent Pl. on April 26. The backpack and its content were later recovered on the front lawn nearby.
