Wilmette Police Bust Suspected Cocaine Dealer

The 42-year-old Chicago man was arrested on Aug. 20.

Wilmette police arrested a Chicago man Aug. 20 for allegedly attempting to sell cocaine to an individual in the 100 block of Green Bay Road, according to a Monday press release. The recipient was an undercover Wilmette Police Officer, according to Chief Brian King.

Michael T. Schoenwald, 42, has been charged with possession with the intent to deliver. Schoenwald was held overnight Sunday in Wilmette lock-up. He will appear before a Cook County judge at the Skokie Courthouse on Aug. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
