Daily Visits Drop 50% at Wilmette Pool

Wilmette Centennial Family Aquatic Center is also seeing a revenue drop.

Wilmette Centennial Family Aquatic Center has seen daily visits from residents drop about 50 percent compared with last summer and the pool was down about $76,000 in revenue through the end of June, Chicago Tribune reported.

Jeffrey Bowen, Wilmette’s superintendent of facilities says the drop could be caused by a combination of the weather and the 25 percent price increase for non-residents, who pay $18 on weekdays and $20 on weekends, instead of $13.75 for weekdays and weekends, the newspaper reported.
