Economic Redevelopment, Resident Services Among New Wilmette Presidents’ To-Do List

Bob Bielinski says economic development is "absolutely number one on the list," Wilmette Life reports.

For Wilmette’s new Village President Bob Bielinski, the top priorities he hopes the village will achieve are: economic redevelopment in the downtown area; careful budgeting; and continuing to provide high quality village services for residents, Wilmette Life reported.

Bielinski told the newspaper that some of the work will be behind the scenes, such as overhauling the village’s zoning ordinance to be more understandable and easier for businesses and residents to work with, while others will proactively searching for new water plant customers to continue sewer infrastructure improvements in the village.
