New Trier Township Reminder: Aug. 1 Deadline for Child Care Financial Aid
Applications are available online and at the Township Office located at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka.
The following message is from the New Trier Township Summer 2011 Newsletter:
Families struggling to pay the high cost of child care may be eligible to apply for a financial assistance program that helps low- and moderate-income families pay for child care expenses while the adults are working, looking for work, or in an approved training program. To be eligible for the program, an applicant’s income must be within certain guidelines. Applications for the program are available at www.newtriertownship.com and at the Township Office. Residents may also call 847-446-8202 to request a copy by mail. The Township will accept applications through Aug. 1. Following the deadline, applications will be reviewed and given consideration based on available funding. This program has been funded by New Trier Township government since 1993.
