Park District to Host Special Meeting Tonight
A new commissioner could be appointed Monday evening.
The Wilmette Park District will host a special meeting Monday night regarding the selection of a new commissioner.
The Park District's Board will gather at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall and mostly deliberate in closed session. They will reconvene publically and announce any consideration of action, according to the agenda.

The position was left vacant in June, when Commissioner Dennis O'Malley Despite hopes to vote on a new commissioner at its Aug. 8 meeting, the Wilmette Park District will have to wait to fill its vacancy until September.
"We're still engaged in the process of evaluating candidates for the board vacancy," Commissioner Darrell Graham told Patch earlier this month.
