Republicans May File Lawsuit Regarding District Map

Wilmette and Kenilworth's former district is one of those reportedly contested.

Congressional Republicans may soon file a federal lawsuit challenging the district re-mapping presented by Democrats in Springfield, Journal & Topics Newspapers reported.

The congressional district map was re-drawn following population changes reflected in the 2010 U.S. Census. The 10th district, which used to include Kenilworth and Wilmette, is one of the districts to be contested in the suit.
