Wilmette Resident: I endorse Rathe for Village Trustee

Dr. Stephanie Kutzen explains why she's voting for Doug Rathe.

The following is a letter to the editor from Wilmette resident Dr. Stephanie Kutzen. Kutzen has been a resident of the village for 38 years, and is an active supporter of trustee candidate Doug Rathe.

I strongly encourage the voters of Wilmette to support and vote for Doug Rathe for Village Trustee. His experience as a Wilmette Library Trustee for the past 12 years will help him greatly contribute to the Village Board.  His background and experience in public service is impressive. He has been a highly respected lawyer for the past 35 years. For more than 15 years, he was an Assistant Attorney General where he headed the Environmental Crimes Bureau. Doug now is in private practice where he serves on the panel of attorneys of the Federal Defender Program. As an educator for the College of Lake County and Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, he contributes to the professional development of others. Doug Rathe is recognized as a man of great integrity and will serve all of us extremely well.

Please vote for him.
