Wilmette Mansion Sells for $3 Million

The 4,500-square-foot home sold for 38 percent less than its 2010 price of $4.83 million.

A Wilmette mansion owned by Blackstone Group L.P. recently sold for $3 million, at 38 percent less than its 2010 price of $4.83 million, ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com reported. 

The new owners of the four-bedroom home with 120 feet of lakefront at Canterbury Court plan to tear down the structure and rebuild, ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com reported.
