Frank Lloyd Wright's Romance with Japan

Wilmette resident Bob Karr, a recognized expert on Frank Lloyd Wright and Japan, will explore Wright's extraordinary relationship with Japan on March 5 in the Auditorium.  Mr. Karr will present historic photographs and images, as well his own photographs, of the places Wright encountered during his numerous trips to Japan between 1905 and 1922, places that inspired the renowned architect's style. 

Karr has studied and worked extensively in Japan and served on the board of the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust.
