Playborhood: Turn Your Neighborhood Into a Place for Play

The Alliance for Early Childhood, in partnership with the Winnetka, Kenilworth, and Northfield Park Districts, is hosting an inspirational and fun evening with Mike Lanza, the author of the blog, Playborhood.com. On Thursday, May 24th Mike will present his new book titled, “Playborhood: Turn Your Neighborhood Into a Place for Play,” sharing his inspiring, successful work to create a rich neighborhood play life for his three boys - ages 7, 4, and 2 - in Menlo Park, California, as well as stories from dozens of neighborhoods throughout the country that are doing innovative things to make a vibrant life for kids. This free event will take place at the Clarkson Lodge at Clarkson Park in Northfield from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. (1950 Willow Rd., Northfield, IL 60093). Questions?
