I am looking forward to learning so many things from the outstanding staff and high achieving students in District 39. There are so many amazing opportunities within the District 39 curriculum such as the new science curriculum, the wide variety of technology programs, and impressive community service initiatives, just to name a few. I am excited about working with the staff, students, and parents in any way I can.

How do you hope to challenge the students and further the academic success at your respective schools?

I hope to challenge the students at Central and McKenzie schools to reach their highest potential socially, emotionally and academically and to continue to be positive contributors to the education community.

What has been one of your favorite moments in your teaching career?

My favorite moments in teaching have been the times that I've spent learning new concepts with students. I especially enjoy reading with students and I also love doing team building activities with them. The best times are when students and teachers are enjoying the learning process.
