New Trier Students Reminded to Follow Dress Code

An e-alert was sent to parents last week about appropriate attire.

officials sent a reminder to students and parents to follow appropriate dress code, TribLocal reports.

“We’ve been reminding parents about our dress code since at least 2004,” District 203 Spokeswoman Niki Dizon told TribLocal. “There’s really nothing new this year.”

So far no attire rules have been violated this school year, according to Dizon.

The email states that, "While we want adolescents to develop their own style of dress, we feel that some students are overstepping the boundaries and making the educational atmosphere uncomfortable for others."
