New Trier Students Test Underwater Robot at Glenview Park District Pool

The students are preparing for the Marine Advanced Technology Education underwater robotics competition on March 23.

 

New Trier High School’s Robotics Club recently tested their underwater robot at the Glenview Park District pool in preparation for an underwater robotics competition on March 23, Chicago Sun Times reported. 

Designed with PVC pipe, bilge pump propellers, an underwater camera and a claw arm to grab and move objects, the underwater robot will take part at the Marine Advanced Technology Education robotics competition, which is run through the Shedd Aquarium and held at University of Illinois at ChicagoChicago Sun Times reported.
