NTHS Science Olympiad Team Ranked 10th in Nation

The New Trier High School Science Olympiad team earned 10th place at the National Competition.

New Trier High School's Science Olympiad ended the season on a high note with a 10th place finish at the National Tournament, including medals in four events.

The tournament, which was held at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio on May 17-18, included the country's top 60 Science Olympiad teams.

Marie Murphy School in District 37 in Wilmette placed third in the nation in its division.

The four NTHS teams that earned medals include Hayle Bounds and Sean Ye placed (3rd in Water Quality), Arthur Tsang and Luke Finnerty (3rd in Astronomy), Elizabeth Lee and Andy Feis (6th in Boomilever) and Arthur Tsang and Ari Wolfe (6th in Circuit Lab).
