Holiday Huddle at Halas Hall

Chicago Bears fans will have a rare opportunity to tour the Bears’ training facility in Lake Forest and mingle with current and former players at the “Holiday Huddle at Halas Hall” on Friday, Dec. 9.

The event will benefit the Gridiron Alliance, a charity organized to improve the lives of former high school student-athletes who were catastrophically injured while playing school sports and promote the care and well-being of these injured athletes post-injury.

Wide receiver Earl Bennett, special teams standout Corey Graham and tackle Gabe Carimi are scheduled to attend, as are former Bears Keith Van Horne, James “Big Cat” Williams and Otis Wilson. The McCaskey family will be represented by Mrs. Edward McCaskey and Chairman George McCaskey.

In addition to touring the facility and meeting the players, attendees will also have an opportunity to take photographs throughout the building, bid on unique auction items including Bears tickets, and enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

The Bears have provided long-standing support to a group of courageous former high school football players who were catastrophically injured while playing high school football.

The lives of these young men were forever altered in one instant when they were rendered quadriplegics while playing the game they love. Two of these players, Rocky Clark (Eisenhower High School) and Kenneth Jennings (Simeon), have been instrumental in the formation of the Gridiron Alliance.

Tickets to the event are $125 each and are available for purchase at www.gridironalliance.org.
