Update: Loyola and Naperville Closely Matched in NBC 5 Poll

Voting for the Prep Destination of the Week ends at noon.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, the top games in the running for NBC 5 News Today's were separated by just 12 votes in a Facebook poll.

Saturday’s IHSA Quarterfinal Round football game between and Lyons Township High School had 4,165 votes, while Homewood-Flossmoor at Naperville Central had 4,177. The matchup between Marian Central Catholic High School and Montini Catholic High School trailed far behind with 2,077 votes.

The show will broadcast live from the winning school on Friday morning, discussing the game and giving fans and community members the chance to show off their team spirit. Voting is open until noon and the winning team will be announced Thursday during the show's 6 a.m. broadcast.
