Every Monday, Wilmette-Kenilworth Patch will provide a preview of events and meetings taking place in the community.

- Why Go?: Families are invited to gather near the tennis courts for stories and songs with Wilmette librarians in a local park. In case of rain or extreme heat, storytimes will take place at the Library. If in doubt, please call 847-256-6945. Co-sponsored by the Wilmette Public Library and the Wilmette Park District.

- Why Go?: Families who have a loved-one with Alzheimer's disease are invited to support group meetings. Mike Denesha, the group's facilitator, holds a Master's degree in family caregiving.

- Where: , 1242 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette
- Why Go?: Two veterans groups - one from World War II and the other from the Korean War and the war in Vietnam - hold regular meetings from 10:00-11:30 at the Library. Conversations are lively, the coffee plentiful and participants rarely miss a meeting.

- Why Go?: Attend an informal, non-judgmental forum to discuss ADHD. Learn and share strategies and resources, or come just to listen. The facilitator, Dale Davison, is a board-certified ADHD coach and consultant.

- Where: , 1242 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette
- Why Go?: Enjoy Chocolat, the romantic classic film of food and love, adapted from the novel by Joanne Harris. Bring along one of your favorite chocolate recipes and the library will make copies to give to the audience. Chocolate treats will be provided. This program is part of the library's Summer Reading Club, "Reading is So Delicious". Come to the library to sign up for the club; read four books and be eligible for some yummy prizes and a chance to win the grand prize of a Nook e-reader.
