  • Why Go?: The ultimate audience-participation film, this campy horror send-up is hosted here at the Wilmette Theatre by Chicago TV's horror/scifi host Undead Johnny and is performed with a live cast The World of the Weird Monster Show in a unique shadowcast performance that both duplicates and parodies the action taking place onscreen for a fabulously entertaining multimedia late-night show.   And you can join in the fun as well, with plenty of opportunities for the audience to dig into their participation prop bags (sold at the door, complete with instructions) and enter the wild fun!  And there's even a spooktacularly amazing pre-show!

  • Why Go?: The Wilmette Historical Museum is offering a stroller tour this summer, giving families with younger children the opportunity to learn about Wilmette’s historic downtown. The tour will specifically feature the commercial area around the intersection of Wilmette and Central Avenues, and will provide detailed historical and architectural context.

  • Why Go?: The headliner for this month is the hilarious Paul Thomas!  Paul Thomas was named one of Comedy.com's Top 20 Stand-ups in Chicago in 2009.  A character writing and performing addict, he recently brought his solo sketch show Comedogenic to Sketchfest NYC after a run of the show at The Pub Theater in Chicago, as well as at iO Theater Chicago and the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival.  He has performed solo sketches in the Just for Laughs Chicago "Alone" showcase.

  • Why Go?: This annual event showcases the talents of local North Shore artists, as well as craftsmen and artists from across the country and around the world. The lakefront with its beautiful hues puts the finishing touch on this grand show that art aficionados and the casual art lookers, alike anticipate each summer. Juried artists will be on site to showcase their work, featuring a variety of mediums including mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
