Township Pantry Teams up With Grand Foods for Drive
New Trier Township will be hosting a food drive at Grand Foods in Glencoe June 17.
New Trier Township pantry is coordinating a drive with Grand Foods in Glencoe on June 17.
"Our pantry is doing pretty well, but there are always things we don’t have," said Brian Leverenz, the township's community service administrator, "The struggle for any pantry is to be able to provide some variety for people on the shelves."
"The priority for this event are cooking oils, salad dressings, condiments, paper goods, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies," Leverenz added.
