Wilmette Police Pass the Torch for Special Olympics

Officers participated in the 2011 Torch Run on June 5.

Wilmette Police helped pass the torch for Special Olympics Sunday along Green Bay Road. Chief Brian King, commander Patrick Collins and several other officers participated in the event, which raised money for the Illinois Special Olympics. 

Participants could pay a minimum of $20.00 in donations to the Illinois Special Olympics. Contributors could would receive a 2011 Torch Run t-shirt or hat. Check out the gallery and add your own!
