A drunk driver caused a three-car accident yesterday afternoon near the Glenview-Wilmette border just after 3 p.m. Glenview police and fire responded to the call in the 200 block of East Lake Avenue near Meier’s Tavern where three cars were blocking traffic in the curb lane, Glenview Police Sgt. David Sostak told Patch this morning. “One rear ended another causing a chain reaction involving the third vehicle,” he explained. Floriberto Montoya, 33, of Wilmette, is allegedly responsible for causing the accident, police say. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduced speed to avoid an accident and endangering the life of a child. Montoya was released on a $1000 bond and is scheduled to appear …
