The Nancee Rapoport murder case will continue this week with a preliminary court hearing Monday afternoon. Anthony Rapoport, faces first degree murder charges for allegedly bludgeoning Nancee, his aunt, to death with a baseball bat on Christmas Day. Prosecutors will try to establish probable cause for holding the 24-year-old Wilmette-resident for Nancee's death. Anthony's bail was set for $8 million in cash on Dec. 27 during a bond hearing at the Skokie at the Second Municipal District Circuit Court of Cook County. Nancee, 49, died Dec. 26 from the head injuries she sustained, Assistant State's Attorney Robert Heilingoetter told the court last week. Chicago woman seeks damages in connection with June car crash that killed two teens and injured another near Wilmette Harbor.
The mother of an 18-year-old woman killed in a drunken driving accident in Wilmette this June is suing the 20-year-old driver. Meanwhile, the driver is in jail awaiting trial on eight felonies in connection with the crash that left two dead and one injured. Zawadzki is a loving and caring family. Szymon was also a good kid. I know this because I went to school with all of these people. These girls called him because they needed someone to drive!
