Underage Drinking Party Amanda Hofh, 20, of 303 Sheridan Rd., Kenilworth was issued a village ordinance citation July 25 for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and hosting an underage drinking party after Kenilworth police discovered the underage drinking party while on patrol. Identity Theft A resident in the 600 block of Ivy Court reported July 23 that his financial institution notified him that a fraudulent change of address for his bank accounts were made on June 6. Attempted Fraud A resident in the 300 block of Woodstock Avenue reported July 27 that fraudulent check was sent to his attorney for advance work to be performed at his residence and that the attorney was to keep portion of the proceeds and refund overpayment. Wilmette detectives have charged three Evanston teens for their involvement in several burglaries that occurred in Wilmette, Skokie and Kenilworth.
Wilmette police have arrested and charged three Evanston teens for a spree of garage and auto burglaries that occurred in Wilmette, Skokie and Kenilworth over the past three to four weeks, according to police. “The three juveniles made independent statements admitting to their involvements in the theft,” the release said. Identity Theft On May 28, a collection agency contacted a resident in the 700 block of Kent Road for unauthorized debt owed. A resident in the 500 block of Brier Street reported two fraudulent withdrawals from his bank account in May.
