Police: Kenilworth Man Flashes Gun at Police Station

Booth, 76, of 310 Raleigh Rd., Kenilworth was arrested for unlawful use of weapon on Oct. 19. Kenilworth Police Blotter: Tax Fraud, Credit Card Fraud and Pot Possession

Identity Theft A Kenilworth resident living in the 200 block of Sheridan Road told police on Oct. 13 that he had been a victim of credit card fraud. A Kenilworth resident living in the 700 block of Roger Avenue told police on Oct. 13 that an unknown offender had stolen his/her identity through tax fraud. Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Alcohol by a Minor Francis M. Roti, 19, of 2615 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette, was reportedly issued local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and possession of alcohol by a minor after police stopped the subject for committing a traffic violation in the 1600 block of Sheridan Road at 12:35 a.m. on Oct. 14. Kenilworth Police Blotter: Juvenile Marijuana and Alcohol Possession

Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Alcohol by a Minor A juvenile was issued local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and possession of alcohol by a minor after police stopped the subject for committing a traffic violation in the 700 block of Roger Avenue at 1:29 a.m. on Oct. 5. No Valid Driver’s License Idalìa Alanis-Gonzalez, 28, of 6231 N. Mozart St., Chicago, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license after police stopped the subject for committing a traffic violation in the 400 block of Green Bay Road at 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 2. Kenilworth Police Blotter: Telephone Harassment and Stolen Jewelry

Residential Burglary An unknown offender reportedly broke into a home in the 500 block of Kenilworth Avenue sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. on Sept. 25 and stole jewelry from the master bedroom while the house was unoccupied. The offender entered the residence by prying open a backdoor. Telephone Harassment A resident living in the 300 block of Sterling Road reported receiving several calls around 3:38 p.m. on Sept. 26 from a man who claimed the resident owed him money for work he said he had performed. Kenilworth Police Blotter: Stolen Jewelry, Suspended License

Theft A woman living in the 300 block of Abbotsford Road reported on Friday, Sept. 21 at 11:38 a.m. that she discovered jewelry missing from her home, police reported. The woman reportedly told police she did not know when the valuables had been taken. No valuation estimate or description of the missing jewelry was provided. Driving Violation Mariusz Bajkowski, 30, of 663 Darien Ct., Hoffman Estates, was charged Sept. 21 with driving with a suspended driver’s license during an investigation following a traffic accident in the 600 block of Wayland Avenue, police reported. Kenilworth Police Blotter: Stolen Range Rover

Stolen Motor Vehicle A 2009 Range Rover was stolen from the 90 block of Robsart Rd. sometime in the early morning hours of July 2, police reported. The vehicle was recovered in Skokie by local police, and an Evanston juvenile was later taken into custody. Police reported that an investigation was still pending. Earlier: Kenilworth Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Identity Theft These are crimes, thefts and major traffic stops reported by the Kenilworth Police Department.  Fraud A fraudulent wireless transfer was attempted on a Village of Kenilworth account between 2:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Aug. 13. The village’s financial institution informed a village finance administrator of the deceptive practice. Criminal Tresspass to Motor Vehicle Items in an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Brier Street was disturbed between Aug. 18 and 19 but nothing appears to be missing.
