Livatino Ready for Round Two with Loyola Basketball
The Ramblers return four key players back from last season's regional championship team.
Tom Livatino is in the second year of his return to coaching Loyola Academy men's basketball, and he hopes to make it a triumphant No. 2. Livatino was an assistant at the school from 1998-2001, but left after a new head coach was named at Loyola for the 2002 season. Livatino spent three years as an assistant elsewhere and eventually landed as head coach at Lincoln Park High School. In five years with the Lions, Livatino went 100-40 and won three regional titles, earning him a second look from Loyola. Livatino was offered the head coach position for the 2009-2010 academic year.
