I am continually impressed with the folks around this town. The other day I witnessed two men strike up a conversation while waiting in line at the coffee shop. The younger man (early 30s) let it be known that he had recently separated from his wife. The older gentleman (45 tops) told him that he had been divorced for a several years, and invited his new friend to sit down and converse further on the subject. That's cool, but the impressive part was the tone of their conversation. Contrary to my expectations, it was far from spiteful or angry.
