Athlete of the Week - With 18 write-in votes, Glenbrook North's Jenny McTague was named Patch Athlete of the Week. McTague pitched a gem in Glenbrook North’s 1-0 victory over Maine South. The junior hurler yielded only three hits and two walks in a complete-game victory. The Spartans improved to 3-1 on the young season. McTague had 18 commented votes. HONORABLE MENTION - Tom Meyer, senior, boys water polo, Glenbrook South Meyer came in second place, with eight total commented votes. He also made 40 saves and only allowed 28 goals in five games during the Evanston Tournament.
