Chicago Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Wilmette Burglaries
Arnold Rogers was sentenced to 20 years for the two Halloween burglaries, months after serving five years in prison for a previous burglary.
A Chicago man was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of residential burglaries in Wilmette, Wilmette Life reported. Arnold Rogers, 42, of the 1400 block of South Canal St. in Chicago was sentenced on Jan. 30 by Judge Garritt Howard, the article states. Patch reported in November that Rogers was charged with two counts of residential burglary after Wilmette Police reports state that he broke into two Wilmette homes and stole electronics and jewelry. Rogers was later caught by police after officers found him hiding in the bushes, surrounded by the stolen items.
