Thanks for commenting on Patch! First I'd like to point out that what you are referring to is an answer not a question.
Second, when I wrote "other people" I was specifically thinking of someone who might have a serious mental illness. Also, people in the U.S. illegally would not be able to buy a gun either. So I used other to basically indicate anyone who would not legally be able to own a gun. -

I don't disagree Charles. CNN, AP, Fox and the Boston Globe all were reporting an arrest and have now walked that back. We will continue to update this post as information comes in. Hopefully the 4 p.m. press conference will provide some clear information.

Maybe I did not write this very clearly. It includes all teachers, university employees and the Illinois General Assembly. Chicago Public School teachers are exempted.
