" the real scandal is the bridges are falling down,"

and oversized trucks are running into them, causing them to collapse.

too bad we didn't spend more of that stimulus money on infrastructure, as the GOP wanted to do...instead, it got spent on hundreds of bizarre projects.. and a bridge for the Microsoft complex.

(remake of scene from Godfather II.. Michael Corleone, or the Godfather, is being questioned by a Senate sub-committee that is investigating the mafia)

Senator Kane is being played by Darrell Issa
Michael Corleone is being played by Barack Obama

DI : Is your name Barry Soetoro?
    BO: Um... uh.. yes.

DI: are you also known as Barack Hussein Obama?
    BO: uh.....um......yes

DI: are you the head of the United States Gov't?
BO: uh.. 'the head'? um.. can you rephrase the question?

DI: do your employees refer to you as 'The President'?
    BO: me? um... yes, sometimes.

DI: does this not mean that you are the leader of the United States Gov't??
BO: 'President' is a term of endearment and respect that my friends and people in the media use.

DI: Well, doesn't that mean you are responsible for things that happen in the gov't? Aren't you accountable for your employees?
BO: uh..um... I uh.. may know many people who are in the uh..as you say 'government', but don't have any direct connection to um..those people.

DI: you haven't talked to or communicated with any people in the US government?
BO: uh... let me make myself clear..um, uh.... no.

DI: this is a farce! you have been elected by the people. how is it that you aren't accountable for anything?
BO: buffers. i have a lot of buffers. and the AP and CNN help out a lot, too.

Butch continues to bring up Mitt Romney, a.k.a. TWIT, as if he were relevant. He continues to blame TWIT as if he was the President.

BUTCH, Kardashian is our president. Face it. You can't blame TWIT, you can't blame CHENEY, you can't blame NIXON. You can't blame the fictional JOHN GALT.

Deadcat, don't you find it ironic that President Kardashian tried to make Goldmann Sachs, et al, look like the bad guys for the meltdown 5 years ago, YET he has been more generous to these people than any of his predecessors? We print 85 billion every month that we borrow from the ChiComs, and buy our own bonds back from Goldmann Sachs. Is that correct? Am i missing something?

The point of the blog that i wrote months ago was that people were belly aching about having to cut 85 billion out of the 'budget' for the sequestration, yet they failed to acknowledge that is the SAME amount that we borrow every month to prop up the stock market. Crazy stuff.

All eyes on Bernanke now! I wrote a post about this yesterday morning (up this thread here) and also had written a blog on Patch about this issue some months ago.

People just don't have a clue as to what is coming down the pike.

The Federal Reserve has been printing $85,000,000,000 of monopoly money every single month to prop up the stock market. Progressives who point to the DOW and say "the economy is going great, just look at the stock market!" fail to comprehend the adverse effects of QE3.

When Bernanke, Obama and Goldmann Sachs decide that QE3 is coming to a halt, the rich will walk away uber wealthy and the middle class will get left with scraps. The poor? The poor will still be poor.

When will it end? who will Bernanke tell first? How bad will the market crash be?

" and Dan can apply to join if he wants, but we just can't allow recreational hunting in populated areas, that's crazy talk."

i'm sorry that i even said that. although i truly believe we need to get rid of these things, i've got zero intention of shooting them in a neighborhood.
