ReplyNorth Shore homes prices went up by a few percentage points in 2010 and then went down by a few percentage points in 2011. Essentially we have been bouncing along the bottom for over 2 years with small moves up and down. This will likely continue for the foreseeable future. With rates at all time lows, it is a great time to buy and will pay off well in the long run. But economic uncertainties, difficulties getting a mortgage, and the stagnant market have kept many people from buying or considering a trade up. I am a Realtor and track the market carefully. I post quarterly market reports on my website.
