Sara Shaaban, Neighbor

Hello All, My name is Sara Shaaban. Sacred Heart Chicago and Loyola Academy graduate. I attended Marquette University for a year and a half but decided to transfer to find the right fit and to embark on the adventure that is my life. UNIFEM, United Nations Development Fund for Women, has hired me as an intern to put together an Anti-Sex Trafficking Campaign, work with the High Schools in the Singapore area and to be a part of a wonderful team of individuals creating equality and safety for women all over the world.  I was hired based off of the work I put together in Costa Rica and the stance I have for women in the world, the passion I have for making a difference, and the determination and commitment I have for being a stand for effective change.  I am leaving the United States June 12th and will be working with UIFEM until September 2nd 2011. The work is never complete, so the campaign will be passed on to someone else once my three months has come to a close, but every bit of effort creates change and can create a better life for someone.
