An unidentified body — which appears to be that of a male teenager — was found near Frontage Road and Briar Dr. near the Edens Expressway in Wilmette on Monday night, according to an article by the Chicago Tribune. The body was reportedly located near bushes and a fence.
The body showed signs of trauma, but a preliminary cause of death has yet to be determined, CBS is reporting. Police could not say if foul play is involved.
However, the Wilmette Police told Patch that they would not confirm that the body showed signs of trauma.
The Wilmette Police Department nor the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office both told Patch that they are not releasing any additional information at this time.
